12/31 UPDATE: GEORGE IS SHOWING SIGNS OF KENNEL COUGH SO WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE SHOWN UNTIL HE IS WELL. THIS COULD TAKE A FEW WEEKS OR SEVERAL WEEKS FOR HIM TO RECOVER.
George came from a shelter in Stockton. He was listed as a stray. His ear was in really bad shape. Turned out he had a foxtail in his ear which caused him quite a bit of pain and discharge from his ear. He is on the mend now. Through the big scary ordeal of being in a big cold damp shelter and dealing with a very painful medical issue with his ear, he is no worse for the wear. He loves people and loves other animals. He dances on his back feet with delight when his people come in to a room. We are teaching him to be on all 4's to get attention though. It is instant love and affection when you meet George. He has a wonderful personality and demeanor. His only issue at this point is that he really does not like getting meds put in his ear because it is still very sensitive, which is totally understandable.
