Timber's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Timber's Story...
I am a very sweet but shy boy about 2 years old who came to the shelter as a stray. I like to be petted and have attention once I trust you. I just need a quiet home and lots of TLC to come out of my shell. I get along with other nice cats and would be a great companion. I am FIV positive but can live side by side with non FIV cats as it's very hard to pass this along. I can live a long, happy, and healthy life just like any other kitty. I do need to be indoors to minimize the chances of picking up a contagion that I will not be able to fight off. Please stop by the shelter and see how handsome I am in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timber, a Walden Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Walden, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Walden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walden paves the way for another one to be saved.
