Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Sarah, She is a little Chihuahua / Terrier mix female. She only weighs about 12 lbs and is about 4 yrs old. As you can see, she is almost all reddish blonde, except for some white markings. Sarah is social and friendly with people she meets; she is NOT shy or timid at all. She will let just about anyone pick her up. She enjoys being held and petted and would love to have a warm lap to sit in. She is a pleasure to walk on a leash and she rides well in the car too. She is crate trained and keeps her crate clean and dry. We think that she might be housetrained too.
One of her favorite things to do - she loves to sunbathe when she is outside. She also LOVES to go for walks. (She will stand by the gate and look over her shoulder at you asking if you have time to go for a walk. Oh so smart!) Sarah was someone's good little dog. We think that she would make an excellent companion for someone.
In our foster home, Sarah seems to do okay with our other small breed foster dogs. She doesn't seem to be interested in cats and might do okay in a home with cats. A meet and greet might tell us better how she might do with your family or other pets. This little girl is looking for a loving home.
Sarah is spayed, current on vaccinations, and is also microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Sarah, please visit our website, www.friendsofcanines.org, and check out our adoption process and fill out an adoption application.
