Madonna's Story...
"Hello, everyone. My name is MADONNA, and I'm a lovely pit bull mix who's just one year old. I'm a friendly, loving, and affectionate sweetheart, so I'd make a great family pet. I also enjoy playing with other dogs who are on the larger side. I'm young, and I've got a moderate energy level, so I'd need a yard in my new home, along with daily exercise. I'd love to go for a walk every day, as it would allow me to spend time with you. I truly enjoy being with people, so I'd want to have a snuggly dog bed inside my the house so I can be close to you. I know how to sit on command, and I'd be happy to learn even more. I'm ready and willing, so now I just need a kind and patient person who'll train me and love me. Won't you please come visit me here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter? They've got a really nice play yard here where we can spend some time getting to know each other, so maybe you can toss a toy around for me and then rub my tummy. I think it will do us both some good! Love, Madonna" Kennel #6

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madonna, a El Cajon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
