Meet Jovie, a very sweet lab mix who just showed up on someone's doorstep. She was never claimed by an owner, so K9 Kindness got her fully vetted, and now she is ready to find a new home to welcome her.
Jovie is a very loyal young dog who wants to please all the time. Her tail is constantly wagging and she will roll over for you to rub her belly every chance she gets. JOVIE is a Black Lab and German Shepherd mix, about 1 ½ years old. She is making good progress on her house training. She gets along well with cats and children, and would love to have a dog friend at home to bond with. She loves to go for walks and does fairly well on a leash. She knows some several obedience commands including Sit, Lie down, Come, Off, No, and Kennel.
Jovie is kennel trained, but since Jovie has some separation anxiety she can only be kenneled for short periods of time, and is not quite ready to be left outside the kennel while alone. Jovie would require a 6 ft fenced yard—she is a good jumper and can almost jump a 5 ft. fence!
Jovie is a typical young dog--full of energy and loves to chew on bones and antlers. She is getting acquainted with toys and can easily entertain herself by throwing her toys in the air and retrieving them. She is a very happy dog with lots of love and loyalty to offer a forever family!
This dog’s adoption fee is $225. Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad City area.
