Hi there. My name is Dean. I'm about 6 years old and I weigh about 30 lbs.
I was originally found as a stray in the Lisbon area with my friend Darla. My friend found a home and I was left here alone brokenhearted without her. I was here for about a week by myself, then someone came in and adopted me. I was happy and things really seemed like they were going to be fine, but it turns out that I didn't get along so well with one of her other dogs.
I am a great boy here at the pound, so it seems that make it was just that other dog specifically. I go out with groups of other dogs to play and I do good with all of them.
Now I am very sad again because I am sitting here at the pound, alone in a kennel most of the time. My sad howls can be heard from the office sometimes. I am just begging for someone to come see me. Come take me for a walk. Come take me home... I'm a really good, sweet boy. Just come meet me and you'll see. You could be my family and I could be your Dean Bean.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER DECEMBER 29, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
