My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OH ELMA!!! Where do even begin with this poor little girl!! To start shes the coolest little short stuff Pitty we have yet to come across!! We begin about a month ago, when our foster home came across her running a stray in norristown. she was skin and bone, scared and cold. Nails over grown, ribs out and would cower anytime youd try and pet her. She was deemed unworthy of adoption by he local pound and was turned away. We are always full and we still made room for her! She was held/fostered by a volunteer and was posted and reported of being "found" begging for owners to come forward" no one lost her or cared if they did. She was obviously used for breeding. She has lots of wear and tear on her, crate soars and all. Shes approx 2-3yrs old!
Now month later she is now surrendered into our rescue and we will give this little stinker a chance! Lets just say she has Blossomed into the funniest little dog, She just LOVES other dogs, especially her big foster brother Tonka! Shes so so sweet and so gentle..shes still learning how to be in a loving home and treated good. Shes not so shy anymore, now shes wants to meet everyone!! Resilience is so strong in our Pits, they dont let much get them down for to long once they have real love! Little Elma has tested our dedication for her in the last few weeks for SURE!! She was Spayed and her body rejected the incision, he tissues we bleeding out and so inflamed she has us in an ER visit til 9pm at night! we were in tears and scared with all the blood pouring from her, our vet was able to get it all under control and now she has made her recovery. On top of that we got bad test results and found out she is Parasite Positive, we have her treatments scheduled and we are ready to take care of her! :( all were are trying to do for this girl when no one ever did and shes just a hot mess! Shes is def putting us to the test, and we wont give up! Shes proving to be worth every penny! We would love to find her a real loving dedicated for ever home for her!! She is just a doll in foster right now and shes low maintenance!! also she just so little shes easy!! I think she be a great "starter" pitty for anyone looking to adopt!! Shes very go with the flow and just wants to be a happy dog, we would love to find her a home with a another k9 brother or sister! Shes would do fine with children too!! Shes cool with cats, shes till trying to figure out what they are :) She housebreaking great and we are working on commands. she walks great on leash, and is figuring out how to live life like a normal dog, she now likes to play with toys and always wants her spot on the couch next to you! Would u like to meet Miss Elma! She ready to start her foster to adopt!!
