Jessie (fostered in FL)'s Story...
Jessie is a beautiful 2 year old Carolina Dog looking for an active home to call her own! She's 62 lbs., spayed, HW negative and up to date on all her vaccines. We have to say, she is a LOT of dog! She's pure muscle and loves to play outdoors with her tennis ball as well as chewing on sticks, which if you're familiar with the breed, know they love to do!

Her foster Mom says she loves to play with other dogs, is ok with cats in the home if properly introduced, and is great with children! She's a bit exuberant when you come through the door and will jump, but it's nothing that can't be corrected with some training classes. Jessie is currently being fostered in Clearwater FL but we can arrange transport to just about anywhere in the US. Classic Carolina Dog looks, extreme intelligence, and a happy demeanor describe Jessie perfectly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie (fostered in FL), a Cranston Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
