Tiny Mama Nova's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Tiny Mama Nova's Story...
Nova is tiny, loving, well behaved, good with kids and was a wonderful mother to her litter of puppies. Sadly, Nova was taken from a home during a drug bust along with her newborn puppies and the daddy dog. Nova raised her puppies in the shelter and now it's her turn to be somebody's baby.
Nova is now a Handsome Dan Foster Dog. Nova was a resident of Woonsocket shelter where our volunteers have visited her each day for six weeks. We have grown to love Nova. She is really something special, you will see that from the moment you meet her.

Kara Montalbano is Lucy's Shelter Dog Enrichment Specialist and now that Nova's puppies are old enough and are going to their forever homes, Nova can come to our group dog training class, we can get her spayed and vaccinated and help her to find her forever home.

Please contact Kara for more info on Nova at kara.montalbano@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny Mama Nova, a Cranston American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Cranston, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
