Trixie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Trixie's Story...
Cute, cute, CUTE! Trixie has a really nifty Mickey Mouse emblem on her left side! This precious pup is still new to foster care, but she has already come a long way since being dumped at the shelter, scrawny and unwanted by her previous owner, who requested that she be euthanized.
Trixie is friendly, playful, and ready to bond with a devoted, forever owner.
Of course, like all busy babies, this roly poly puppy will need regular exercise, plenty of patient, positive training, and lots of attention, in order to grow up happy and healthy.
Do you have room in your heart and your home for this super-sweet puppy-on-the-grow? If so, please contact her foster family by phone at 225-505-9831 or by email at pdcarson@cox.net

All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. For more information about FOTA or to make a donation, please visit http://www.friendsoftheanimalsbr.org/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Baton Rouge Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
