Wendy's Story...
Hi, my name is Wendy, I am 4 & 1/2 years old. I have a lot of energy and love to run and play. I'm a big girl, but a softie at heart. I used to be OK with other dogs but right now I would rather be the only dog. I should go home with children over 12 years old who are used to an energetic dog. I'm house trained, because I had some kids of my own once! I love to play with toys and love to play in the hose. I really love to have a good time and then snuggle up on a bed when I get tired. I would love an active family that has a fenced yard to play with me in.I am spayed and fully vaccinated. I am a courtesy posting on this web-site. I'm currently under the care of The Animal Adoption Center, Lindenwald, NJ. For more information, contact them at www.aacnj.org, or call 856-435-9116. Inquires can also be sent to this web-site and they will be forwarded to the proper channels. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Newtown American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Newtown, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
