My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Good and Grateful, "Billy" is a 6 year old OTTB gelding who retired from Finger Lakes Race Track on December 1, 2014. He raced 18 times and earned $10,372 from 2 seconds and 5 thirds. Billy hasn't raced since July 2014 due to arthritic changes in his right knee. At the end of the race meet he had nowhere to go so we opted to take him in, give him some rehabilitation and have him evaluated by our veterinarians. His knee will be x-rayed in January to see the extent of the damage but Billy does travel relatively sound. He is a very sweet guy and stands around 16 hands. He is suitable for pleasure/trail at this time.

Good and Grateful is available for adoption under a no racing/no auction contract with right of first refusal through Second Chance Thoroughbreds, Inc.
