My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GRAYSON is a Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix rescued from freeway traffic in an urban area. We estimate her date of birth to be January 2014. She weighs about 45 lb. and may reach 50 lb. at full maturity. She is now spayed, fully-vaccinated and current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm preventives. She is heartworm negative and otherwise healthy. Grayson is house-trained, knows how to use a doggie door, and is crate-trained for nighttime sleeping. She walks on-leash but still pulls a bit. She was likely abandoned by her former human but doesn't appear to have been mistreated. She is sweet, affectionate, devoted to her human. is not skittish and is quite friendly with all she meets. She plays well with the other dogs in her foster home and, thus far, has been non-aggressive toward the household cats (although she tries to snag some of their catfood). Grayson still has some puppy ways, enjoys toys and likes chewing Nylabones. She knows how to sit for a treat and takes treats gently from your fingers. She still needs a little training on house manners but is bright and eager-to-please, so with very little effort, she will be a great dog for the right person. This is a courtesy posting.
