My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Joe!
Joe came to us as a stray from Wyoming. He is estimated to be around 8 years old, is neutered, vaccinated, and house-trained!

He has some old injuries (an elbow fracture, arthritic hips, as well as an old skull fracture), for which he is on pain meds and anti-inflammatories. He's had a fractured tooth removed in early December and is back on solid food.

He does well with other dogs but his herding nature is fully developed, so cats (and chickens!) and other small pets are not recommended. While he loves kissing babies, he's a little shy about his personal space, so we would recommend a home without children, or one with older children who know how to respectfully approach a dog.

This fellow was in rough shape when he arrived but is healing well and learning how nice life as an indoor dog can be. Now all he needs is his forever home...
