Elsa's Story...
Elsa is approximately 5 months old, we believe her to be pit bull shar pei mix. Elsa is very lovable and very smart. She loves to cuddle and sleep in your lap. Gets along well with other dogs, cats and young children. Elsa did not have such a good life, her owners kept her in a crate 24/7 . We have been working on her potty training and she is doing pretty good so far. Elsa is waiting for a family to call her own, you won't be disappointed in this sweetheart. She is being fostered in orange county NY. If you're interested in adopting Elsa please send an email to and request an adoption application. Elsa is too young to be spayed, so she will be going on a spay contract and have to be returned to the rescue to be spayed and micro chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elsa, a Queens American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei for sale in Queens, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Queens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Queens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Queens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Queens paves the way for another one to be saved.
