Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Roxie, she's an approx. 5-6 year old miniature pinscher. She's a small girl at only about 15 pounds and will not get any larger. Roxie has a beautiful brindle coat that's as soft as velvet. Roxie has a sad story. She originally came to Rover Rescue about 5 years ago after losing her original home and her canine companion. Their elderly owner was just not able to care for them anymore. Then after coming to Rover Rescue she was adopted by a single father and his 2 young sons. The sons LOVED Roxie but when the family fell on financial hard times they also had to let Roxie go. My heart goes out to this little dog. She just always got the bad end of the stick in unfortunate situations. Now Roxie would love a home that will never let her go. Someone who will be committed to her to the end. Roxie loves people and is good with everyone and for the most part good with other dogs, but being a miniature pinscher she can be bossy so a home where she would be the princess of the house would be the ideal home for her, after all what she's been thru she deserves it. Even though I don't recommend this but the boys she lived with never leashed her, she would just follow right along with them everywhere. Roxie had some pee accidents when she first came here but with regular outside potty breaks she's doing great. If you think you would like to give this little dog something she's never had A FOREVER HOME, please call Jody at 708 268-6965. Roxie is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and her adoption fee of $100.00 also includes a microchip with registration.
