Calico/Torti female, young about 2 years old. Florentine is a perfect kitty if you are looking for a playmate for your current cat. She gets along righ away with every cat she meets and she bonds with cats fast!

Very playful, interactive, loves other cats and she would prefer a home with another cat, so if you are looking for a companion for your current cat- Florentine is the one.

Hi my name is Florentine, I am a very elegant gorgeous calico/ tortoiseshell girl with a funny very playful personality. I have a very nice soft fur with lots of colors (brown, caramel, white, black) and I get lots of compliments for my looks.

I am about 2 years old, but that does not stop me I still have a kitten in me, I am very playful, curious girl. My favorite game is to play with toy-mice, throw it in the air and catch it; I love to chase a wand with a string, bat at a toy and delight in whatever game you have in mind.

When you meet me first, I am kind of a shy girl and need some time to warm up to you once I get to know you. You see I really depend on other cat to be my leader in life so I will do better in a home with another cat who can help me to come out my shy shell and shine. And my foster mom will show you few tricks on how to help you and me to bond together by using treats, canned food and toys. I am always ready to play and chase laser pointer.

Occasionally you can see me eating my canned food with my paw and than dip my paw into a water to clean it. My favorite game is to put a toy into a water bowl and than play my fishing game. I am very interective girl.
Often when my foster mom cooks dinner I sit in a kitchen chair watching her and observing everything.
Its funny, that every time you turn around I am near by watching you and observing things around.

I get along great with all type of cats and love playing and hanging with them, so if you currently have a cat and would like a companion – I might be your best choice, I just love hanging and playing with other cats a lot.

As you can see I have a lovely kind spirit and waiting for someone to take me home.

I have great manners, I am litter-box trained and trained to use scratching post.

Florentine was rescued from a sad desperate situation, she was living in a home with lots of other cats, sadly owner did not spay any of the cats and they all were breeding and breeding till things got out of hands, and owner asked for help. Florentine came with 3 kittens who were already adopted, but she is till hanging in foster home waiting for her forever home. She is payed and up to date on all shots and in great health. She is under "foster to adopt program" so if you are that special person who be interested in fostering Florentine and potentially give her a forever, please contact us to learn more about her.

To learn more about Florentine, please contact: 610-324-4726 or catchancerescue@gmail.com

Florentine is up-to-date on all shots: Distemper, Rabies. Spayed. Tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Microchiped. Litter box trained.

She absolutely loves playing with other cats and she is currently in foster home with other cats.

She is very motivated by food and toys, laser pointer and with a little work she will get less shy and will blossom.

More about this rescue

Cat Chance Rescue is a non-profit, small, all volunteer rescue group dedicated to helping cats and kittens find their forever homes.
We believe “Every Cat Deserves a Chance”.
All our cats and kittens are Spayed/Neutered, up to date on Distemper and Rabies shots, tested for FIV/FeLV, microchiped, dewormed and deflead prior to adoption.
We are no-kill rescue and all our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes until placed into forever homes.

Cat Chance Rescue is a group dedicated and committed to promoting pet spay and neuter. We provide information to educate individuals and communities of the importance of responsible pet ownership. We concentrate on spaying and neutering feral cat colonies under TNR (trap-neuter-return) program. This practice reduces unwanted litters.
