Rowdy's Story...
Hello, the Ark named me Rowdy.

I am a Bulldog mix. My coat is short, with white and tan/grayish (face only) in color. I was born September 2010 and I weigh 42 lbs. I was found at a place called General Dollar Store, almost frozen. I am so thankful for kind ladies and gentlemen. I want a loving home where I will be cared for my entire lifetime. Do you think that could be your home? When you come to the Ark, ask to see Rowdy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rowdy, a Huntsville Bulldog/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bulldog/American Bulldog for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Bulldog/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bulldog/American Bulldog breeders who help with Bulldog/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
