Tucker's Story...
Tucker is a 14 mos old German Shepherd. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. He still acts like a puppy. He is crate trained and housebroken. He likes to play with other dogs. Not sure how he would be around cats. He is learning his basic commands but is easily distracted at this point. He has food drive which helps keep his attention. Once he gets tired he is very happy to chew on a bone and be near you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Rochester/Buffalo German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
