My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, we're Jax (mainly black) and Max(well) (white and black) and our foster mommy refers to us as the "heart puppies". We even have our own facebook page (www.facebook.com/heartpuppies) where you can watch videos of us and see photos (go check us out!). Although our mommy thinks we are special to begin with, we saw several cardiologists and they said we are "special needs" due to our heart condition (Trilogy of the Fallout). The DR even drew mommy pictures of what our heart should look like and how it should work, but both our hearts are different and unfortunately cannot be fixed by surgery or medication. Really, most of the time, we do not even realize we are sick. We act and behave very much like typical 4 month old puppies. We are just about crate trained (we can go 4 hours right now before a break) and we are working on house training (we know to go outside, but we haven't learned to go on a puppy pad inside or give mommy a signal). We eat, sleep, play, and do all the other normal puppy things. Our 4 legged mommy is a Pomeranian/poodle, but we do not know what our dad is (although our foster mommy thinks a spaniel of some sort). Everyone thinks we'll get to be about 8 to 10 lbs. Our foster mommy belongs to A Tail to Tell, Puppy Mill Rescue and they have agreed to take care of all our medical care for the rest of our lives, if we can find a forever home. Our foster mommy is very particular what our ideal home would be: no small kids, not many other dogs, keep us together, and a fenced yard. You are welcome to ask her why she's being picky at michelle@atailtotell.com and any other questions you may have about us or our condition. If you aren't the right family for us, but want to know how we are doing, please like our FB page, follow it, share it with friends/family, or even make a donation at www.atailtotell.com in support of our future care. Our new year's resolution is to find our forever family - help us make it come true!
