Gusty is a wonderful little wire-haired terrier mix looking for a forever home. He is very friendly and playful. He has a sweet personality and is an affectionate boy. Gusty is a very easy dog to take care of. He is confident and although he enjoys attention and loves to cuddle, he is not underfoot. He can entertain himself and will just enjoy chilling in a dog bed while his family goes about their daily activities. If you want him to accompany you on a walk or car ride he’s excited to go with you! He walks wonderfully on leash and enjoys meeting new people. Gusty would do fine in an apartment or townhome. He is crate-trained and housebroken and is a quiet dog. Gusty does ok with our other dogs but would be just fine as an only dog. He has done well with our cats. Gusty weighs 14 lbs and is 4 years old. He has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on his shots. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. If you would like to meet Gusty, the first step in our adoption process is the adoption application form which you can complete on line at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form call Tony at 336.251.8877 to confirm receipt, ask questions, discuss your application and set up a time to visit. We have an adoption center in downtown Mocksville and are there by appointment only. Our hours are flexible but we can typically meet any day of the week at 7 or 8 pm. On weekends and holidays we can also meet between noon and 4 pm. We will work with you to arrange a convenient time when you can get your whole family (dogs included) together to visit.
