Hello, I'm Ruby and I'm a sweetheart. I was neglected but I still think people are great. Especially when they give me lots of hugs and kisses and belly rubs. When I was picked up, I was very sad because i was covered in lots of itchy bugs. I heard the nice people say they were called ticks and fleas. Whatever they were, I did not like them at all. I also had a cable tied around my neck. The people were sad for me because they thought maybe i had been tied to a tree outside somewhere where I couldn't run and play. I don't remember. I'm just glad i'm out of that scary place I came from. Now, allI know is that I've gained a lot of weight with all the good food i've been getting to eat. I might need to go on a diet. I'm told I have such high spirits, you wouldn't even have thought I'd been neglected. I am now about 6-7 years old and I have waited a long time for a loving family of my own.
