Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Parker is a wonderful 2 y/o male who is really an over-grown puppy. Parker was found in a Deer Park when he wandered into camp and attached himself to a friendly face. He was such a good boy that the man had to bring him home. No owners have been found, so Parker came to HBHR to find a new family.
Parker plays with the enthusiasm of a much younger dog. He is full of life and is often seen running through the house with a toy even when no one is interested in chasing him! He loves to wrestle with everyone, but is especially fond of the half pint girl that is his foster sibling. He is very gentle with her and has never taken advantage of the fact that his paw is as big as her head!
Parker has good house manners. He is house broken with the use of a dog door. He sleeps through the night on a dog bed, but will occasionally find his way to the big bed on a cold night. Parker has never gotten into anything. He eats slowly and is patient about waiting his turn at treats. He does need help with leash walking as all good scent hounds do but does better when walked with a harness.
Parker loves to cuddle. He really wishes that his foster Mom had a bigger lap, because he would fit much better! As it is he is happy to over flow a bit while he soaks up all the love. Parker will make a wonderful addition to any active family. Apply today to meet this great boy!
