Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TIBBY: 8 Year Old Yellow Female Lab Spayed 60 Pounds
Tibby is a calm, sweet girl, on the smaller side for a Lab with a delicate slim face. She comes from a happy, loving home but her owner works from home and Tibby somehow was escaping from the house during the day and wandering the neighborhood, which the owner wasn't able to handle. Tibby is fine with other dogs and also used to co-habitate with another dog. She is very friendly to people--including those that come to the house, meeting people on walks and errands. Tibby is so calm and gentle that she would be fine with kids-- she has had exposure to children, even small ones, and plays well with them as long as they aren't very rambunctious. Tibby rides well in the car, walks very well on leash and is fine left at home alone. She is calm and not destructive in the house-- although is an avid counter surfer! Tibby is active (walks rather than strenuous hikes or runs) and loves to explore. She is fine when left alone in the house although would be a great companion for someone who works from home or would be great if someone could take her to work. Her health is good, she is up-to-date on her vaccinations and she has had excellent vet care. Tibby is located in Danville.
If you are interested in this calm, sweet girl, please contact Recsue Rep Allison at 415-806-2490. Text is fine too - please provide some info on yourself.
(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
