My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This poor little girl was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation. We got a call that there were 40 dogs kept in horrendous conditions which needed immediate rescue. We were able to take 12 of them and we are spaying, neutering and vetting all of them. Many of them are shy and are not used to being loved but we are optimistic that they will blossom in the right foster/forever home.

Johanna is 3 yrs. old and we will update her weight as soon as we can. She is a friendly loving, mellow little girl with couch potato energy. She seems to get along well with other people and dogs. She has no aggression issues with either people or animals. She is generally not fearful, but can be shy and timid with new people. She would much rather cuddle than play. She is truly a lap dog and will sit and receive affection from people all day long and be happy. She gets along well with other cats and dogs but generally ignores them in favor of any human who seems inclined to give her an ear-rubbing or a belly rub. She is housetrained which is not the case with most of the dogs we took from hoarding. She's pretty much a perfect little girl.
