Buster's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Buster's Story...
BUSTER had been the constant companion of an elderly gentleman, who sadly recently passed away. A neighbor and friend agreed to care for Buster, however due to her own physical limitations cannot give him the care and attention he deserves. He’s a 4 yr. old Shepherd mix, 77 lbs., neutered, current on all vaccinations & preventatives and house-trained. He will walk on a leash, but has a tendency to pull as he is uncomfortable around traffic or loud noises. He has a very sweet temperament and, in a calm, quiet environment, is good meeting new people and other dogs, but does not like cats. He would be best suited in a home without small children or cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Spring Valley Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
