My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Spike! I’m a happy a little guy who’d just love to meet you. Though I might be getting a little on in years, I’m still an alert and perky pug. I get along great with both my young and old foster sisters, and will even play a bit if you tease me with a stuffed toy. I like to stay close to the human and follow him around the house, but I’m not all that demanding. Give me a scratch and I’ll give you a smile and a wag, and maybe even a kiss or two. Give me a treat and I’ll be your best friend!

I’m a house-training pro, will let you know when I’m ready to go out, and will even brave the rain! When I’m not sniffing around the yard or keeping tabs on the humans, I like to find a nice soft place to nap (I’m just as good at napping as I am at going out)! But don’t worry; I’m not going to try to get on your furniture. It’s awfully high and kind of hard to walk up there…

I’m great company and easy to live with, so maybe you’ve got the right home for me to retire! Give me a shot! I’m pretty neat.
