My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Belle is a beautiful 3 year old spayed black/red female. She is from AKC parents. She has been through obedience training with Ralph Gibson and knows basic commands, according to her previous owner. Belle also lived with 2 housecats, 3 dogs (bigger and smaller than her) and 3 two-legged children. She got along well with all.

Belle is a sweet girl that only wants to be near her people. She can easily climb a six foot fence if left outside alone. Belle is housetrained.

Update April 2008 Belle has been diagnosed with pancreatic enzyme deficiency and has been prescribed a supplemental powder daily. She came into rescue very thin, but with the appropriate treatment looks better than ever! She is at her optimal weight and is in great conditon physcially. EXOCRINE PANCREATIC INSUFFICIENCY (EPI) IS A MANAGABLE CONDITION THAT OFTEN PLAGUES THE GSD BREED. Here is one link that explains what EPI is. EPI

This dog is spayed, up to date on shots and HW negative. Adoption application, home visit, and $300 adoption fee are required. Please read our adoption requirements on our home page.
