Cuddles's Story...
******Please contact Anne (annerose@sbcglobal.net) if interested.******

Cuddles is approx 5 yrs old and is a neutered Yorkshire terrier mix, about 18 pounds. He has advanced cataracts which limit his vision, but that doesn’t stop him from running and getting around like any other animal!

What does he like? People! Especially the ones who love him and women more than men. He follows his foster mom around and wants nothing more than to be with her whatever room she's in.

He loves his belly rubs and does the cutest pawing at his face when you rub his belly. He has energy—not decrepit or mobility-impaired by any means and not wildly energetic like a younger dog. He just loves to be cuddled. He also loves to be walked—however he doesn’t like encountering other dogs on his walks, especially if those owners wants to invade his space.

An older person who wants some serious and unconditional, loving companionship is perfect for Cuddles who has so much love to give and is grateful for the chance at a new life. (He was left behind, tied to a stake without access to food or water, by his evicted owners.)

Cuddles, a El Dorado Hills Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in El Dorado Hills, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in El Dorado Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Dorado Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Dorado Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
