Here's what the humans have to say about me:
KC is a 2 y/o male who found himself being left at a large local shelter, because he was ill. Getting heart worms is not a dog’s fault, but KC was blamed just the same! This little guy is a “stocky” 13 inches. He has lost a few pounds so has gotten his weight down to 26 pounds. When KC came in, he was dirty with a dull coat. What wonders a bath and good diet can do. KC has recovered from treatment for heart worms and is a lively, happy beagle again!
KC is housebroken, uses a dog door without problems and is crate trained. His house manners are excellent, so he is rarely crated in his foster home. He eats his meals in typical beagle style and then will try to get into the bowls of slow eaters, so has been kenneled at meal times. KC gets along with his foster siblings but would be just as happy as the only dog in your pack! He joins in on squirrel hunts and will try his hand at beagle wrestling, but usually is happy to explore the yard on his own.
KC dearly loves to be near his person. He even liked to jump up on the desk chair behind his first foster Dad while he was on the computer! He is a sweet, loving boy who needs a home where he is welcome to snuggle close to stay warm on cold winter nights! Apply today to meet this wonderful little guy.
