My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: ~4/25/14
Breed/Coloring: DLH/Tortoiseshell Point

Rosita is a very special kitty. She is not only gorgeous, but has an outstanding personality. She is VERY cuddly and purrs loudly to let you know how content she is to be close to you. Sometimes when snuggling she does like to "groom" you, especially your hands. Rosita is sweet, playful, affectionate, and quiet (except for the purring). She loves to play with wand toys, her siblings, and just about anything else. She is still very much a kitten in her behavior... but not in her size, and if bored she will chew on or play with whatever she can find. But a little playtime everyday and she stays out of trouble.

Rosita does have IBD (irritable bowel disease) and needs to stay on a special diet (grain free, fish free, canned food only) She is currently eating Wellness canned food and is doing great. Rosita's gorgeous fluffy coat does have a tendency to mat, so she will need to be brushed regularly. She has a great temperament and would do well in almost any home. She is great with other cats, dogs, and would do great with kids. This pretty girl is looking for a forever home that is prepared to manage her dietary and grooming needs. She will be sure to repay you with endless cuddles and love.

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Rosita's adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please email SavedByAWhiskerRescue@gmail.com and we will send you an adoption application.
