AAE took in this beautiful, lil’ stocky girl in October 2013 after relinquishment by her owner due to a financial distress situation. We were told she is a seasoned riding horse.

Fancy is a very sweet mare, but can be pushy when food is involved. She enjoys attention, grooming, and has a sweet interest in little ones. Fancy seems to be a solid, willing riding horse with considerable experience under saddle.

She recently tested positive for Cushing’s, and she gets a daily Pergolide tablet and takes it readily in a carrot “pocket”. She also has thin soles and will likely do best in shoes; however, boots may be a good alternative. She is current with vaccines, deworming, and dental and hoof care.
