Sweet Viola's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Sweet Viola's Story...
Viola is such an affectionate and happy girl. Between one and two years and weighing 50 pounds, she's a great size for either an apartment or house. She's housetrained and crate trained and is quickly learning basic commands like sit and heel. She will wait patiently for you to come home from work and eagerly await a walk around the neighborhood or a game of fetch in the backyard. After dinner she'll gladly cuddle on the couch while you watch your favorite TV show. Her happiest place is with her people. Viola is a great dog for a working professional who has an active lifestyle. For more info on Viola, contact her foster mom at mrfoley25@yahoo.com.

All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. For more information about FOTA or to make a donation, please visit http://www.friendsoftheanimalsbr.org/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Viola, a Baton Rouge Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
