Missy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Missy's Story...
Missy is a sweet dog who appears to have had little human interaction in her life. She is not so much fearful as bewildered by human affection. Once introduced into our playgroup for little dogs, however, Missy became more emboldened; tail flying high, curious about her new surroundings, and having fun. She has become a real lap dog, and loves cuddling.

Missy behaves well on leash and around other dogs when walked by volunteers.

Missy needs someone who will be patient with her and understand that she will need time to blossom. A home without children, or children 12 years of age or older, would be ideal.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to adopt Missy.

Act quickly to adopt Missy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Berkeley Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
