Gypsy's Story...
If you are interested in me, please visit my site, www.breederadoptions.org, read my Policies and Procedures, complete the application and my rescuers will contact you promptly.

Hi my name is Gypsy, I'm a sweet Yorkie girl who is 8 years old. I don't look or act 8 years old. I love to wrestle and play with other dogs. I get along with cats. I love peanut butter on my paw. I need a lot of one on one attention and another dog to play with. No children under 10. My foster mom says I am so pretty. I don't mind a spa day. I sit still to get my hair trimmed and nails done. I was so scared in the beginning I wouldn't let anyone touch my neck or my butt. I will now take food from your fingers. I walk on a leash and I come and ask to get on your lap where I will stay all day getting back messages. . If a visitor sits in the floor I will climb in their lap to be loved. Ask for me and I will give you all the love and loyalty you can handle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Alamosa Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Alamosa, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Alamosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alamosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alamosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alamosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
