TIGER's Story...
Tiger is a seven month old Dutch shepherd/lab mix. He was turned into a local Memphis shelter as a stray, and was immediately put on the euthanasia list of this high kill 70% shelter for being shy. As rescuers, we find this to be ridiculous. In our experience, it's shy ones that are more sensitive, are often more intelligent and loving once they begin to trust you. He is coming out of his shell beautifully and his loving foster home. He is learning that not all people are bad, and that in fact, some of them are wonderful. He is living with small children, and other dogs and is doing fabulously with both. His adoption fee of 425 includes neutering, microchip , up-to-date shots including Bordetella, five in one puppy shots, rabies, and Bordetella. This fee also includes his transport from Memphis to your area. For an adoption application on Tiger, please email us at wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TIGER, a Rochester Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
