My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loki is on his way to Massachusetts to a foster home...He is looking for his forever!

Sweet and enthusiastic is the perfect description of little Loki. He’s about 11 months old (2/11/15) months old so he still has a bit of puppy in him. That helps makes him willing and eager to learn new things and he has a huge desire to please and make you happy. Loki is house trained. In our house that also means he knows not to get on the furniture. He is also crate trained and will “go home” on command. He has a good grasp on ‘sit’ and ‘come’ and is getting pretty good at not pulling you down the road on walks. He never barks at the postman and doesn’t dig under the fence. His absolute favorite thing is a ball. Doesn’t matter if it is big or small, if you can throw it, kick it or bounce it, he will chase it. Speaking of chase, he has invented his own version of it with our dog that involves him running madly about the yard, jumping over her, dashing under the porch and jumping through the cut-outs in the lattice, all in an attempt to get her to chase him. Other dogs and kids are greeted with tail wags and, if he can get close enough, kisses. He’s a little wary of meeting new grownups in his space and prefers to do so one at a time. He tends to hide if to many new people come over at once. However, once he has warmed up to you expect to be licked and loved to pieces. He is a cuddlier who will snuggle down in your lap if you sit on the floor. He has been known to sit and stare at you with a soulful expression just to get you to get down and snuggle with him. When he is asleep he prefers to curl up with his “sister” to stay warm and cozy. Loki will bring so much joy and love to your life and family.
