Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Max's Story...
Max was found as a stray and no one ever claimed this little guy. He was posted as lost and found for 8 days and nothing, not even a micro chip. This little guy is so sweet. He is about 2-3 years old and 14lbs. He is not a big fan of very big dogs, we think they scare him. He does love to play with dogs of his size. He has not hurt the cat in his foster home but is very curious so we think would do better in a home without cats. His is current on all shots, fixed, heart worm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Haggerstown Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Haggerstown, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Haggerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haggerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haggerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haggerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
