Simba's Story...
How could anyone leave this beautiful girl behind? We're not sure either, but that's what happened when her family moved away and couldn't take her. The family was only allowed to take two pets with them and they had three, so Simba was left at VPAS. Simba is a gorgeous seal lynx marble colour with faint Siamese markings. With her big blue eyes and soft coat she turns a lot of heads. Simba is a cuddly girl and really enjoys being brushed. In fact, it's her favourite activity, next to eating and lounging. She also enjoys having her chin rubbed and is a great lap cat. Simba has some minor neurological deficits that she's had since she was young. You would never know that she is different than any other cat, but her vision may be slightly affected, therefore Simba needs to be an indoor-only cat. She gets along well with other cats and would likely do well in a home with a kitty friend to keep her company. She is a great snuggler, and because she is shy she wants a quiet home with someone who wants to spend lots of time cuddling with her. No children please. If you would like to be Simba's lap please contact us at 652-4312 or come to VPAS for a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Saanichton Bengal cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bengal for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Bengal cat from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bengal breeders who help with Bengal rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
