THIS IS FIONNA...and she is a princess waiting for her castle! Fionna is a 6 month old, tri colored, 12 lb (probably will be 15 lbs at full size) Lhasa Apso girl. Fionna was a gift, given by a boyfriend who was deployed to Iraq, who didn't want his girlfriend to be alone. Unfortunately, dogs are NOT a good gift idea, regardless of how sweet the thought, and Fionna's mom felt she would be better off in a home that could give her more time and attention. Fionna has the sweetest temperament...very kissy, playful, loving. She LOVES her squeaky toys...and you'll usually find one in her mouth! She doesn't like other dogs in her face when she has her toys, but she is learning how to share. She needs to be in a home with another playful, young dog who will not get miffed when she is trying to play with them, licking them or being very very friendly! OR her guardian should be around a lot, possibly a family with older kids. She is learning the housetraining thing and really doing very well...but so far she only goes on cement!! She is quiet, but will alert to strangers and DOES NOT like to be left alone, even in the car, and she will let you know!! Then, she is vocal! She is a good passenger and is a very healthy, happy dog. She has been spayed (had an inguinal hernia that we had repaired) and she is ready for her forever throne! Kids over 8 yrs old OK. She will not be adopted to a home where she will be left alone all day, as she does need to be trained. She is a puppy albeit a good one...she does need training. Our website is updated daily. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag! Thanks for thinking rescue and adoption!!
