Babe is a senior yorkie who loved her senior companion Mr Ray; the two were inseparable. Sadly, Mr Ray fell ill and went to a nursing home. It broke his heart to say goodbye to his beloved Babe and we have been caring for her for several months in hopes they would be able to live together again. We now know Babe won’t be able to go back to him so she is looking for a new place to call home. Despite her sad story, little Miss Babe is a comical, spunky senior who is sure to bring joy to your home. She lives for her walks, eating and spending time with someone who will appreciate her spunk! She has been living in a foster home with a 50 lb dog and loves being with him; but typical of terriers she gets sassy with her canine friends upon meeting them. Babe would do best in a home without kids or with older children who know how to respect a little dog. She is housetrained on a schedule and crates quietly for the work day.
Requirements: If adopter has children: dog savvy children who know how to respect a little dog
