Mamba's Story...
This lovely, sweet girl is Mamba and she is looking for a home to call her own! Mamba is a 7 year old Lab/Shepherd mix with a caring, loving heart which she would like to share with someone very special. Mamba was picked up at an abandoned home where her family used to live. They picked up and moved one day, leaving this kind gal behind to fend for herself. When she was found, she was laying under the porch with another dog's puppies, trying to keep them warm. We were amazed by her story and caring heart and later when she became urgent, we knew we had to help her. Mamba is a wonderful, laid back dog that is thriving in her foster home. She does wonderfully with children and does well with the other dogs in her home too. Mamba is housebroken, loves to go for walks and really likes her naps by the fireplace. Mamba is quite a catch and we want her a loving family that will never leave her again. She deserves the best!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mamba, a Mount Juliet Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Mount Juliet, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Mount Juliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Juliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Juliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Juliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
