Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 2-year old Beagle with a sweet disposition and more love in my heart than I know what to do with! I have a lot of joy and excitement for life, whether going for a ride in the car or for a walk on the leash, I'm happy to join in whatever the plan! My foster mom says I'm very smart and with very little effort I have learned to "sit", "stay", and "wait". I'm very eager to please. I'm a lover and will shower you with love all the love I have in my little heart...oh and lots of kisses too! My favorite things are attention, hugs and belly rubs to make my day!
Sometimes I need a little patient and persistent coaxing. I "hunker down" when I'm not sure what to expect from my human, or if I'm uncertain of what is being asked or expected of me. Once I understand, I do just fine. I still get pretty excited and jump to say "hello" but I'm learning better manners all the time.
I am crate trained, housebroken, and I sleep all night in my foster doggy bed. I do run for the door if I think you're leaving or if it's time to go outside, so some care should be given when entering/leaving so I don't get out. I've gotten much better about this and will wait when told, but a leash is a good idea before going outside, unless I'm going out into a fenced yard.
I would love my own fur-ever family. Until I'm better about my jumping, please help me be careful not to jump-to-greet little kids that I might knock over with all my love and excitement...I promise I will love and be loyal to anyone who'll love me back and give me a warm, safe and loving home.
