Many people don’t understand the extent of the problem of homeless dogs (and cats); possibly they just don’t care. Rescues and shelters know that it’s a huge problem that can best be solved by getting more dogs adopted and preventing more unplanned litters. Fat, cuddly puppies and kittens are fun; it is easy to love a puppy or kitten! No one has the right to let their dog (or cat) have a litter if they cannot guarantee that animal a home for life. Meet Rocko, a puppy who is less than three months old and was brought to Animal Control. Obviously not much thought was put into finding him a home because the one that was found “dumped” him. He is sweet, outgoing, playful, and handsome! Providing his new family gives him the exercise, training, and love that he needs, Rocko will be an awesome dog. Of course, he will require someone who is home a lot during the day. If you believe that you can make a difference in this young dog’s life, please consider adopting him.
