My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Duke. This sweet boy is a male, 3-4 year old beagle! About 40 lbs. He was left tied to a tree at a vacant house. Neighbors were feeding him to keep him alive. He arrived missing lots of hair due to a flea allergy (very common for dogs infested with fleas for an extensive period of time). He is all better now... his hair is growing in quickly and nicely and he's ready for his furever home! He is crate-trained, house-trained and knows basic commands. He does enjoy other dog and cats but would probably do best as an only dog! He just wants to be cuddled and loved. He is good with all people and is a very friendly boy! He will make a great family dog!! He is also very quiet. Not a barker at all. he only barks when another dark is with him and that dog is barking. I guess you can say he's a social barker?? :-) All our beagles require fenced yards, but Duke is capable of climbing chain link fences. He does great on a long lead which gives him exercise and plenty of room to run. Plus he loves to be on a leash and walked or ran! Dukes foster mom says 'Honestly don't know why someone wouldn't want this guy! He is awesome!' If you can give Duke his holiday wish of a furever home, let us know!! All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/Adopt.html THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties. Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
