My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pretty and sweet little girl is about 8lbs. She is purebred Chihuahua. She is friendly though is also a little shy around new people. She is very submissive to humans and not nippy at all! She is a happy girl who likes to be in your lap or at your side whenever possible. She loves to give kisses as well! She is good with other dogs but NOT a push over. She can hold her own! She is used to be around multiple dogs, big and small and she has no interest in cats. This little girl with big, brown eyes will quickly win your heart! Jan 2012 note: All said above is true..however..we have learned that Delilah needs a day or two to adjust to any new family. She is frightened of being injured and needs 48 hours to realize she is safe. This means, the introductory period into a new home requires a 'hands-off' approach. She will need to remain in an x--pen with puppy pads, food, water and your kindness and then she will trust you. Any adopter must be prepared for this mandatory introductory period.
