Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sampson is a 3 year old, Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix (our best guess) who weighs in at a whole 10-11 lbs. He is extremely loving to his family but can also be protective of them. He was taken into rescue as an owner surrender when one of his housemates had contracted parvo. The family, who loves Sampson dearly, did not want him to get sick and realized the best way to protect him was to remove him from the home. Sampson spent a couple weeks in quarantine just in case he came down with anything but in the end, he was fine. He was recently neutered on 10/10/11 and is ready for a new furever home. This sweet boy loves to give hugs and snuggle!! If you are looking for a companion to always be at your side and show you how much he loves you, this is your guy. Sampson, however, is nervous around small children and because of his protective nature, we will not adopt him to a family with small children. He is, however, great with other dogs and so far has only been around one little kitty which he's been ok with. But I am not sure how he is with adult cats. Please email or call if you think Sampson might be the right fit for you.
