Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little baby girl was dumped on the side of the road by a not-very-nice person. Fortunately, some very nice people found her before any harm could come to her. They took her home and are currently fostering her. They already have 4 dogs of their own, so they contacted Tassie's Hope for help in finding this little pup a loving, forever home. Little "Toots", as they are calling her, was born some time during January of 2008. She is growing and thriving (already bigger than her photo). Toots has had her shots already. She will also be spayed prior to being adopted. Our $175 adoption fee helps offset the cost of Toots' vet visit. We're calling her a Pit mix, but considering that we don't know for sure what her parents are, we can only take a good guess. Toots is a beautiful little girl with stunning green eyes. True to her breed mix, she is a smart pup and a fast learner. She gets along very well with the other dogs in her foster home and she is a true cuddle hound. She needs a new mom and/or dad who are looking for a very affectionate dog. Pit Bulls often get a bad rap, but Toots is living proof that you should judge a book by it's cover. She is a love and will make a great addition to someone's family. Keep in mind that Pits are an active breed, so Toots will do best with a Pit-savvy dog owner who leads a pretty active lifestyle. She will be a great jogging buddy for someone in just a few months. Applicants for Toots must live in the DFW metroplex. A home visit may be required prior to adoption.
