Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Indy was surrendered to Alpha veterinary Care in July by her homeless owner. She was nearly dead when she arrived. She required a blood transfusion to save her life and they didn't determine at the time if it was rat poison or hemolytic anemia that caused her illness. It has been 5 months and her blood work is now normal and the vets have a good feeling about her prognosis. She has been off all medications since September and is in good health. Indy has many great qualities but would do best in a home without other animals. She will chase cats and try to dominate dogs larger than her. She needs an experienced dog owner who will provide her with good leadership, basic obedience and lots of exercise and stimulation. She is very smart and knows many tricks and her most prized possession is a tennis ball.
She is housebroken and the kind of dog that won't leave your side. She is a snuggler. As soon as her caretaker sits down in the evening she is on her lap sleeping with her prized tennis ball in her mouth.
Indy is a good watch dog and would be an excellent companion for someone who is home most of the time. Indy would not do well being left alone for long periods of time. Indy is 2-3 years old and is fully vetted. Indy would be an awesome dog in the right setting.
