Christmas's Story...
A few days before Christmas, I was at a friend's apartment and thought I heard a baby crying in the hallway. What we found instead was this beautiful white cat crying and reaching for the door knob of what we would soon learn was his old apartment. His owners had moved out and just left him on the doorstep. A crowd amassed and as we all debated what to do with him, I just knew that I didn't want him to be caged anywhere, and certainly not left there, so I immediately took him into my home. With snow-white fur and two-toned eyes that reminded us of ornaments, we named him CHRISTMAS.

Since bringing him home I've discovered that he is such a loving, playful, and communicative cat! He follows me everywhere and he's not afraid to meow for a rub down, often rolling on his back or rubbing against me in any way to elicit my attention. His different colored eyes are so unique that I've found myself snapping pictures of him non stop and now he has his own instagram account www.instagram.com/acatcalledchristmas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Christmas, a Los Angeles Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
